Illinois JSM Tennis Challenger

On November 16th, the University of Illinois spread the word about SALSC and our mission for this summer in Africa at their annual JSM Tennis Challenger. The event gives sports teams at their school the chance to show off their tennis skills (or lack thereof!) in a friendly but competitive Fighting Illini atmosphere. The teams compete against each other and it is a fun day for the athletes as it becomes humorous for the teams whose talent does not quite reach the tennis court.  This was a perfect setting for the SALSC members at Illinois to inform their fellow student-athletes of our current social change initiative and encourage further involvement.  

Their next focus is their Jock Jams event where where each team will perform a skit to raise money for SALSC. Details to follow.
